Driveway Sealing

Block weeds, stop cracking, and make your driveway look brand new. One afternoon of work buys you years of protection.

GTA winters destroy unsealed driveways

Salt, freeze-thaw cycles, and UV exposure break down asphalt fast. Sealing creates a barrier that stops water penetration β€” the root cause of cracking, crumbling, and weed growth.

🧊

Freeze-Thaw Protection

Water that gets into unsealed asphalt expands when it freezes. That expansion cracks your driveway from the inside. Sealing shuts it out.

🌿

Weed Blocking

Weeds grow through cracks and joints. A fresh seal fills those gaps and cuts off the entry point β€” no cracks, no weeds.

β˜€οΈ

UV & Oil Resistance

Sun fades asphalt and makes it brittle. The sealer blocks UV rays and repels oil drips, keeping the surface dense and dark.

πŸ’§

Water Runoff

Sealed surfaces shed water cleanly instead of absorbing it. That means better drainage, less staining, and easier maintenance.

🏠

Curb Appeal

A freshly sealed driveway is jet black, uniform, and clean. It's one of the biggest curb-appeal upgrades you can make in a single day.

Protect Your Investment

Replacing an asphalt driveway costs $5,000–$15,000. Sealing every 2-3 years for a few hundred dollars is the obvious math.

Asphalt, interlock, and concrete

Each surface type needs a different product and approach. We use the right sealer for your specific driveway.

Asphalt Driveways

Coal-tar or acrylic-based sealer applied in 2 coats. Fills hairline cracks, restores deep black colour, and adds a clean uniform sheen.

From $299

Interlock & Pavers

Polymeric sand re-applied to joints before sealing. Penetrating sealer locks everything in, brings out the stone colour, and blocks weed re-growth.

From $399

Concrete & Exposed Aggregate

Penetrating or acrylic sealer applied after a light pressure wash. Protects against salt damage, staining, and surface erosion.

From $349

Done right, start to finish

Common questions

How often do I need to seal my driveway?

Asphalt driveways should be sealed every 2-3 years. Interlock can go 3-5 years. GTA winters are hard on surfaces β€” road salt and freeze-thaw cycles make regular sealing essential, not optional.

When is the best time to seal a driveway in Toronto?

Late spring through early fall (May–September) is ideal. The temperature needs to be above 10Β°C during application and for at least 24 hours after. We won't book a sealing job if rain is forecast β€” the sealer needs dry time to cure properly.

My driveway has cracks. Can it still be sealed?

Yes. Hairline cracks and moderate cracks can be filled before sealing. Large structural damage (alligator cracking, deep heaving) may need repair or replacement first β€” we'll tell you honestly what we see during the estimate.

How long does the job take?

A standard 2-car driveway takes 2-3 hours including prep, crack filling, and two sealer coats. We work efficiently β€” most jobs are done the same morning we start. Your driveway stays off-limits until dry.

Do I need to be home?

Not necessarily. We need cars moved off the driveway before we start. If you can arrange that in advance, we can complete the job while you're out and send photos when we're done.
