15 Min Before Arrival

This one text separates you from 90% of home service companies. Customers LOVE knowing when you'll arrive.

Arrival (First 5 Minutes)
Critical โ€” sets the tone

Park on the street, not in their driveway (unless they say otherwise). Shows respect for their property.

BEFORE PHOTOS. Take 4+ photos BEFORE touching anything: front of house, close-up of dirty windows, gutters, driveway. These are your marketing gold.

Knock and introduce yourself:
Hey [Name]! I'm Shaw from MANTLE. Thanks for having us out. I'm going to walk around the house real quick and then get started. Should take about [TIME]. Any areas you want me to pay special attention to?

Walk the property. Note: any damage pre-existing (take photos), obstacles, pets, locked gates, fragile items near windows.
โš ๏ธ If you see pre-existing damage (cracked glass, broken screens, stained siding), POINT IT OUT and take a photo BEFORE starting. This protects you from blame later.

During the Job

Use purified water. This is your entire differentiator. Mention it if the customer is watching.

Take progress photos. One mid-job "half done" photo is incredibly shareable.

Film a 15-sec clip of the cleaning in action. Satisfying cleaning content = Instagram gold.

Upsell ONLY if you see a need. Don't be pushy. Just observe:
Hey [Name], while I'm up on the ladder I can see your gutters have quite a bit of buildup. If you want, I can add a gutter clean today and bundle it โ€” saves you about $40. Totally up to you.
๐Ÿ’ฐ 40% of customers say yes to a visible upsell. But ONLY mention what you can actually SEE. Never upsell something they can't verify.

Clean as you go. No water on their walkway, no debris on the lawn. Leave the property cleaner than you found it.

Walkthrough (Most Important)
5-10 minutes

Walk the property WITH the customer. Point out every window/gutter/surface you cleaned.
Let me show you what we did. See these windows? That's our ClearCoat purified water โ€” zero mineral residue, so they'll stay clean way longer than a regular wash. And check the tracks โ€” we cleaned those too.

Ask directly: "Is there anything you're not 100% happy with? I'll fix it right now."
โš ๏ธ If they mention ANYTHING, fix it immediately. Do NOT say "that looks fine" or "it'll dry clear." Fix it. This is how you earn 5-star reviews.

Payment & Goodbye
